Yassine Talhaoui has been appointed as the director of diversity and inclusion, taking over the reins from Dr. Rachel Myers, who has decided to pursue a new opportunity. Renee Marcellus, who will join Hotchkiss as a teaching fellow in English this fall, has been named the assistant director of diversity and inclusion, a new position.

Responding to the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the day-to-day for all of us, and as we look forward to the coming academic year at Hotchkiss, we know a great deal will be different. We are therefore pleased to announce a number of changes for the 2020-21 application cycle (to welcome students for the 2021-22 academic year) that are intended to ensure fairness, access, and greater convenience for applicants and their families.
In a Zoom session on July 6, Head of School Craig Bradley introduced the framework for the School's fall reopening. A team of School leaders who have been involved in the planning process fielded questions submitted by families about reopening procedures and Hotchkiss's reimagined campus and academic life.

Clinton Brooks '56, P'83, '84 is a former assistant deputy director of the National Security Agency and expert on cryptology, information technology, and homeland security. His work has been widely recognized, including by national commendations, medals, and several Presidential awards.
