A team of School leaders who have been involved in the planning process fielded questions submitted by families about reopening procedures and Hotchkiss's reimagined campus and academic life.

Clinton Brooks '56, P'83, '84 is a former assistant deputy director of the National Security Agency and expert on cryptology, information technology, and homeland security. His work has been widely recognized, including by national commendations, medals, and several Presidential awards.
Over the last several weeks, across this country and around the world, we have witnessed the beginnings of change. As a rising tide of individual voices becomes unified in its refusal to accept anti-Black racism, institutions of all kinds must engage in their own self-reckoning, focusing on the systems, practices, and ways of being that have allowed racism and prejudice to endure.
Although Hotchkiss’s a cappella groups, Calliope and Blue Notes, were not able to meet in person on campus this spring, it didn't stop the dynamic vocalists from singing their hearts out virtually. Prior to the end of the academic year, each group met on Zoom and produced a special performance for the class of 2020 Graduation.
